So I have been sick for a few days but I am feeling better. The ice blue scarf for my Mom is coming along and I hope to have it finished in a week or so and will post a picture. The stitches are rather lovely. I even had to frog (rip out) a section and did it pretty well! Knitting is a process... I am trying to pace myself.
I have been reading the Tale of Despereaux in preparation for the movie coming out this month! The book is so lovely and delicate --- the pages in my soft copy version are roughly hewn in texture ( I just love it and rarely get a book with that type of paper edge). It is a tale of being different and passion.
The movie trailer reeled me in with the illustration style. It is lush and lovely - and so middle ages.... I can't wait to go see the movie now that I am in love with Despereaux.
