It is time for knitting again... a time to every craft in my studio. A time to scrap, a time to stamp, a time to knit, a time to learn to sew... so many crafts to do! Right now I'm working on a multidirectional scarf design using Noro Japanese silk & mohair yarn. It is lovely variegated yarn but hard as heck to untangle when you have to frog the piece!
Right after I got to the part displayed below, I had to frog the entire piece. Yup, you read correctly the entire piece. This is not an easy piece to just rip and start over for me. Thus I begin again, little grasshopper.
So I haven't blogged in a few so here are the new things I'm loving:
- Addicted to watching Torchwood episodes (I am only in Season 1), Cranford Mini Series (waiting on disk 2 from netflix), All Creatures Great & Small (NetlixOnDemand)
- Outblush shopping blog
- Drag Bingo at the Durham Armory! The next show is 22AUG and the theme is broadway. ALl proceeds go to the Aids Alliance. How cool (such fun).
The weather outside is frightful - frightfully hot - so spending time on knitting is so very productive. Here's hoping I don't have to rip and knit as much as I did this past weekend!
Knitting peace, click of needles and smooth thread to us all....
